Our mother, Charlene Batha entered into her eternal resting place on March 16, 2015 at McLaren Bay Region with her family by her side. She was born January 22, 1952 in Belleville Ontario. She is the daughter of Joseph Boisvert who survives her and the late Margaret Boisvert. Charlene was married to Robert Batha who predeceased her in 2010. Charlene was retired as a machinist from Borg Warner Inc.. Besides the love she had for her children and grandchildren, Charlene was an avid bowler and passionate bingo player.
Charlene is survived by her father Joseph Boisvert; 4 children and a Step-Son, David Redfern & Kizzie Dawson, Christopher Redfern & Jennifer Craycraft, Tanya Redfern & Chris Snyder, Susan Redfern & Jennifer Darling, and Robbie (Shaun) Batha; 18 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and her little four legged friend Max. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Wesley Boisvert. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the McLaren Bay Region Medical ICU team and the DaVita dialysis team who have cared for our mother in her time on earth with us.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Hyatt Ewald Funeral Home, 700 N. Monroe St., Bay City, on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 7:30 PM. Interment will take place on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 1:30 PM at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly Michigan. The family will gather to receive friends on Thursday beginning at 4 PM until service time.
