Obituary of Timothy A. Klapish

Klapish, Timothy A. Bay City, MI (formerly of Raleigh NC) Timothy passed away suddenly on March 7, 2015 at the age of 56. He was a graduate of Albion College and Wayne State University. Those who knew Tim, knew him to be generous, caring, giving. He retired as Executive Director of Glaxo Smith Kline. His entrepreneurial spirit was seen in his founding of Phytochem Pharmaceuticals, Galen BioScience, and most recently was the Chief Marketing Officer for Renue Physical Therapy in Bay City Michgian. Tim was appreciated and respected by numerous friends and colleagues. He was adored and loved by his family as much as he adored and loved all of them. Family time is what he cherished most of all. He is survived by his wife Patti (Hemstreet), whom he married September 15, 1990 on Mackinaw Island. Also surviving are their children, Chloe and Cade Klapish; parents, Bob and Sally Klapish of Bay City; parents- in- law, Bob and Sally Hemstreet of Bay City; brothers and sisters, John (Karen) Klapish, his twin sister Tammy (Pat) O'Shea, Bob Klapish Jr., Tony (Tracy) Klapish, & Kelly (Mike) Williams all of Bay City; sisters-in-law, Bobbi (Rick) Taylor and Heidi (Bill) Prince all of Bay City; and several well-loved nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held at Corpus Christi Parish (Holy Trinity Catholic Church) 1008 S. Wenona Street., Bay City, MI on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 10 AM with Fr. Robert Gohm officiating. The family will receive friends at St. Hedwig Catholic Church, 1504 S. Keisel Street, Bay City, MI on Thursday March 12, 2015 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and at Corpus Christi Parish (Holy Trinity Catholic Church) 1008 S. Wenona Street, Bay City on Friday from 9 AM until service time.
