Dolores, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 9, 2021 at Covenant Hospital at the age of 73.
Dolores was born June 6, 1947 in Saginaw Michigan to the late Albert and Doris (McDonald) Clements. She was a 1965 graduate of St. Andrews High School, Saginaw Michigan. On November 16, 1973 she married Abraham Dorfman in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Together they had a son, Adam on December 31, 1974. While raising her son, Dolores was a Cub Scout leader, wife and mother, all while pursuing a career in nursing. After graduating with her RN degree, she performed home health care and taught CNA classes in Pennsylvania and Florida, retiring after 27 years. Dolores loved travelling, especially visiting Busch Gardens, baking, cake decorating, and sharing her goods with everyone she knew in Philadelphia, Florida, and most recently, with the tenants at South Colony apartments in Saginaw. Dolores’s goal everyday was to make at least one person smile.
She leaves behind her daughter-in-law, Alyson; grandsons, Enzo and Mark; brothers and sisters, Carol Jacobsen, John (Mary) Clements, Barbara Wildfong, David (Laurie) Clements, Mark (Lori) Clements, Mary (Michael) Kelly, Gary (Christine) Clements, and Albert (Dyan) Clements; many nieces, nephews and cousins; special friend, Chris Rowland; friends and friends she hadn’t met yet.
She was predeceased by her husband Abe on June12, 2012; her son Adam on October 6, 2017; her parents; and her younger sister, Jean Marie. Honoring Dolores’ wishes cremation has taken place.
