Obituary of Gerald Noel Reed

Reed, Gerald N. Bay City, Michigan Mr. Reed, age 82, died on Friday December 25, 2020 at his home. Gerald Noel was born in Oconto, Wisconsin on February 8, 1938 to the late Walter and Mildred (Zutter) Reed. He was a former Police Officer with the City of Bay City, he was a retired foreman for Midland Contracting and Pyramid Paving Company. Mr. Reed is survived by his children, Kimberly (Danny) Hodgin, Kay Gauthier, Brian (Cathy) Reed, Kevin Reed, Amy Gray (Sam Tremble), Tim (Debbie) Reed; and the mother of his children, Fran Reed. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, Patrick VanOchten, Nicole Gauthier, Solon Gray III, Seth Gray and fiancé Tessa, Kyle (Katerina) Reed, Emily Reed, Landon Reed, Kyle Felske and fiancé Miranda, Jacob Felske and girlfriend Allie, and Jason Felske; 13 great grandchildren, Tyannah, Elijah, Kaliyah, Qai, Leah, Gannon, Brantley, Emma, Peyton, Analilia, Mirabella, Caleb, Paityn; 2 brothers and a sister, Dick, Butch and Diane also survive. He was preceded in death by his mother Katherine Reed and his wife Joyce Reed. A private family service will be held due to social gathering limitations and COVID concerns, however, they invite you to join them via our live streamed Celebration of Life service at 2 PM, Wednesday, January 6, 2021 from the Hyatt-Ewald Funeral Home.
