Murray, Mary L.
Bay City, Michigan
On Wednesday, December 9, 2020, Mary L. Murray rejoined her heavenly family and gained her wings. She was born March 17, 1951 in Bay City, Michigan to Madeline and the late Arthur Maciejewski. Mary was a beautiful soul that went above and beyond for everyone and everything. That included her love of decorating for every holiday, especially Christmas. Her home was filled with floral arrangements and her hand painted ceramics. Mary graduated from All Saints Central High School. She worked various jobs throughout her life before retiring from South End Pharmacy. Mary was a dedicated wife for 49 years and loving mother of 5 children. She treasured her family and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Nana. Nothing brought a smile to her face like her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband James Murray; her children Nichole (Robert) Reifeis, Stephanie Murray, Alison Murray, James Murray and John (Itzel) Murray; grandchildren Tyler Shafer, Taylor Shafer, Logan Reifeis, Aevrik Murray and Brynne Reifeis; great grandchildren Kairi, Sly and Everton; her sisters Camille (Mark) Curtis, Jeanne Maciejewski, Janice Maciejewski and brother Robert Sode; many brothers and sisters in law, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. All of whom loved her dearly and will never forget her bright light. She was preceded in death by family; Robert and Dorothy Murray, Mary and Terry Carriveau, Walter Witt, Raymond Tudor, Debbie Sode, Kyle Carolan and her beloved puppy, Muffy. A memorial will be held at a later time when we are all able to come together to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, those considering an expression of sympathy are asked to consider donating to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. www.stjude.org
