Obituary of Delmiro V. Paiz

Mr. Delmiro V. Paiz of Bay City passed away Sunday morning November 22 at Covenant Health Care of Saginaw MI. at the age of 77 years. He was born in Comfort Texas. Delmiro served in the United States Army for 4 years and held Sargent rank with good conduct medal, expert rifle, code of conduct, military Justice and CPR certificate. Delmiro was a wonderful Husband, Father and Grandfather and Great Grandfather. He loved to gamble with his sons and take long walks with his wife. He stole every moment he could get to spend time with his grandchildren. He took great pleasure in his lawn keeping and working on his Garden with his son Del. He enjoyed admiring his yard and bird watching with his daughter. He retired from General Motors after 44 years. Though he enjoyed working, Delmiro wanted to spend time more with family and grandchildren by volunteering as a BASA grounds keeper. He also loved traveling to Texas every year to visit his family for our family Vacation. Delmiro is survived by his wife, Martha ; Sons, Tony Paiz and Del (Lorien) Paiz ; Daughter Yolonda (Muntasir) Toly; Grandchildren, Adam Toly ,Jordan Paiz (Nick), Ryan, Selena, and Cash Paiz. Great grandchildren , James Wilson, Walter and Jozlyn Stevenson. Delmiro is also survived by his oldest and dearest friend George Armendarez. Godfather to; Roy Arroyo, Oscar Garcia Delmiro was preceded in death by his parents, Lorenzo and Juanita Paiz. And his three Brothers Andrew, Robert, Lorenzo and two sister Margie and Amanda Funeral service will take place in private for burial in Comfort, Texas.
