Obituary of Phyllis Ann Rabish

Rabish, Phyllis Ann (Tomaszewski) Pinconning, MI Phyllis, age 90, passed away suddenly, Sunday, November 15, 2020. She was born in Standish Michigan, on September 10, 1930 to the late Dominac and Sophia Tomaszewski. She was a 1948 graduate of Standish High School, and a graduate of Central Michigan University where she earned her Bachelor of Science and Education Degree. She taught kindergarten in the Pinconning Area Schools for 40 years before retiring in 1989. She married Alex Rabish on August 8, 1959, and he predeceased her in 1994. Phyllis was a long-time member of the Michigan Education Association, was active with the food pantry, and very involved with both St. Agnes and St. Mary Parishes where she served as organist, Lector and Eucharistic Minister. Although she enjoyed many things, her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family. She is survived by her son, Chris (Barb) Rabish; grandchildren, Caleb (Carrisa) Rabish, Faith Rabish, and Evan O’Dell; sisters-in-law, Elaine Tomaszewski and Theresa Rabish; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters and a brother. Respecting Phyllis’s request, a private family service was held.
