Obituary of Judy E. Meldrum

Judy E. Meldrum, age 80, of Bay City MI passed away Friday, August 14, 2020. She was born May 18, 1940 to Tony and Mildred Pack in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from Central Michigan University with a teaching degree and taught early elementary for 30 years in the Bay City Public School system. She was married to Eric Meldrum for 52 years and he predeceased her in 2013. She was a member of the Kawkawlin Community Church since 1955. She was a member of Jobs Daughter's serving as Honored Queen in 1960. She also enjoyed many years participating in the Red Hatter's club. She enjoyed playing cards, playing the piano, traveling with friends and spent many years camping with family and friends. She is survived by her two children, Tim (Ann) Meldrum of Muskegon and Brian (LaRae) Meldrum of Bay City; 5 grandchildren, Zach, Rachael, Kylie Meldrum and Jacob Meldrum, and Jade Dowdy; her sisters, Sandy Meldrum, Loretta (Ed) Waldo, and Peggy (Bob) Dennis; her brother, Larry Pack; and her mother-in-law, Ethelyn (Al) Meldrum. She was predeceased by her parents Tony and Mildred Pack, and her father in law, Clyde Meldrum. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 P.M., Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Kawkawlin Community Church, 311 Grove Street, Kawkawlin MI. The family will receive friends on Wednesday prior to the service, from 10 A.M. – 1 P.M. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to Kawkawlin Community Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
