Jack, age 84, passed away Friday, June 12, 2020. He was born in Bay City Michigan March 13, 1936 to the late Harold and Marian (Belinda) Dinsmore. He was a landlord and power house operator at both Steering Gear and Dow Chemical for many years, retiring in 1998. He married the former Virginia Ainsworth Ancel on December 8, 1993 in Bay City, and she survives him. He graduated from Visitation Catholic School; enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating; and was a proud member and elder of Alcoholics Anonymous, and a friend to many.
He is survived by Virginia Dinsmore, his wife of 26 years; his children & their mother, Dinica (Jeffery Cole) Summers of Bay City MI, Michelle (John) Tiernan of Portland OR, Jeffrey (Patty) Dinsmore of Bay City MI, & Dolores Dinsmore; two step-children, Michele (Eric) Rogers of Merrill MI and Jason (Peggy) Symons of Rochester Hills MI; grandchildren, John & Kathryn Renz of Midland, Jason & Alyana Renz of Sanford, Desiree (Matt Yono) Renz of Harrisonville, Danielle & Sam Hurt of Birch Run, and Amanda Orvis of Pittsburgh PA; 4 step-grandchildren; a sister, Maryjane Voelker of Caseville MI; sister-in-law, Joan Dinsmore of Tawas MI; several nieces and nephews, and a special nephew, Josh Ainsworth. He was predeceased by three children, John, Phillip, and Greg; three brothers, Ron, James, and Gerald.
A Life Celebration and luncheon will be held at 11 AM, Friday, June 19, 2020 at the Pavillion located in the Essexville Park (behind Essexville City Hall ~ 1107 Woodside St.), with Fr.
