Obituary of Jeanne Phyllis Bargouthy

Bargouthy (Deja), Jeanne Bay City, Michigan Jeanne P. Bargouthy passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw. She was 64 years old. Jeanne was born August 25, 1955, in Saginaw, to the late Anita Nacarato and Eugene Deja. Jeanne was a loving mother; not only to her own children, but also to the countless children who affectionately called her "Ma". She loved everyone unconditionally. Jeanne always had a caring smile on her face and a joyful song in her heart. She was a thoughtful and loyal friend to many. If anyone needed help, she was there. Her compassionate, gentle demeanor made her a friend to everyone. Jeanne also enjoyed numerous hobbies such as: arts & crafts, drawing, gardening and singing. Jeanne loved her family tremendously and was a devoted homemaker. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. Jeanne is survived by her three children: Sameer Bargouthy, Dannielle Agee and Alyssa (Donald) Prather; step-daughter, Mary Agee; seven grandchildren; Alexandria Niedzielski, Aaniyah Hawkins, Trinity Gaines, Amorae Prather, Zoey Wentworth, Donald Prather III, and Thomas Prather; two great-grandchildren, Izaiah Marrero and Izabella Marrero. She also leaves behind two siblings, Ann Deja and Edmund (Judy) Deja. Jeanne was predeceased by her mother, Anita Nacarato; father, Eugene Deja; and three of her siblings: Allen Deja, Cat Thomas and Laura Walton. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM, Saturday, July 18, 2020 at the Hyatt Ewald Funeral Home, 700 N. Monroe St., Bay City MI. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 11 AM until service time.
