Moltane, Robert A. Bay City, Michigan Mr. Moltane, age 70, died Sunday, June 2, 2019 at McLaren Bay Region. Robert was born in Bay City on January 4, 1949 to the late John William and Mary June (Sauve) Moltane. He served in the US Army during Viet Nam. Robert was member of the Log Cabin of Bay City, and a very involved and an active supporter with all those involved. He enjoyed spending time at the casino's, but most of all spending time with his children, grandchildren and family. He retired from Steering Gear in 1998. Mr. Moltane is survived by his 5 children, Ed Charbonneau of Linwood, Chris Moltane of Bay City, Missy Moltane of Bay City, Jessica (Michael) Davis of Midland and Jenee (Joe) McNaughton of St. Charles. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, Trevor Charbonneau, Gracie Howell, Alaina McNaughton, Layla McNaughton, Maliya McNaughton, Tanis Davis, Lyllian Davis, and Isabel Davis; 2 brothers and 3 sisters, John "Jack' (Dinah) Moltane of Pompano Beach, FL, Marie (William) Smith of Los Vegas, NV, Kathy (Denny) Lynch of Bay City, Joanne (Ron) Blaine of St. Charles, and Mike (Cindy) Moltane of Pinckney; and beloved dog,Toby. He was preceded in death by his wife Linda Moltane. A graveside military service will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly, Michigan. A Life Celebration will be held from 2 – 5 P.M., Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the Am Vets Post #22, 520 N. Pine Rd., Bay City, MI. To sign online guestbook visit www.hyattewald.com.
