Wow! I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. My heart goes out to you. Pete, along with Don, was a good friend back in high school and I remember the good times we had, especially in electronics class with Mr. Witte.
I was Pete's nurse for over 20 years. He has always been an inspiration to me and I have spoken of his courage, acceptance and love of life to many of my discouraged pt. I can't help picturing Pete in heaven sitting by a river with a fishing pole in his hands. I will miss him greatly. He was a good friend.

To all of Pete's family: We were so sorry and shocked to hear of Pete's passing. After he went to the wound care clinic in August, we lost track of him. I will miss our football chats that we always had. I thought about him often the last few months.... knowing he would be enjoying watching football if he was able to do so. We consider ourselves fortunate to have known Pete and will miss him greatly. Please let me know of any life celebration or memorial that is planned as we would like to attend.
