Obituary of Charles R. Grappin

Grappin, Charles R. Midland, Michigan Mr. Grappin, age 90, died on Monday November 19, 2018. Charles was born in Garfield Township, Bay County, Michigan to the late George and Anna (Kruger) Grappin. Charles served in the US Army during the Korean War. He retired from Teamsters Union #486 after 27 years of service. Charles was a member of the American Legion Post #239, Linwood. He enjoyed to hunt and fish. Mr. Grappin is survived by his wife Lorna, their 2 sons; Roger Grappin and Kenneth (Mary) Grappin. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren; Tiffany (Nick) Gorton, Tony (Sarah) Grappin, Lizzie Grappin & Gussie Grappin, 2 great grandsons; Andrew and Alex Grappin, 2 brothers in law and 2 sisters in law; Dennis (Mary Lou) Datte, Herb Datte, Elaine (Ron) Sollner, and Marilyn Grappin and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 4 brothers; Pearl (Eugene) Dubay, Clara (Darrol) Delong and Doris (Albert) Vanderbrink, George (Vivian) Grappin, Jim Grappin, Del Grappin and Bernard (Shirley) Grappin, brother in law Ted (Agnes) Datte and 2 sisters in law; Evelyn Datte, and Doris (Tim) Dyer.
