Mrs. Davenport, age 83, died on Thursday November 1, 2018. She was born May 8, 1935 to the late Charles and Annie Bell (Washington) Fields in Natchez Mississippi. She enjoyed Bible Study at church, having luncheons with friends, cooking and baking, but above all her love was being surrounded by family.
She is survived by her children, Robert Davenport, Charlene Smith, William Davenport, Charles (Kari) Davenport, Brent (Mandilyn) Smith, Grant (Alysia) Mackey; grandchildren, Eisha, Sharisse, Tiffany, Rochelle, Meredith (Rick), Miles, Anna, Taylor, Ahrion, Alexander, Arabella; great-grandchildren, Aijalon, Adesola, Andre, Alia, Jazmine, Saniyah, Syer, Major, Pierce, Xavier, Zakiyah, Vega, KJ, Dallio, Dalliah, Darrell, Davalli, Mia, Akilles, Oviana, Shayla; great-great-grandchild, Alayzia; many nieces; nephews; cousins; and close family friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert B. Davenport Sr.; sisters, Amelia Casmere and Shirley Hardin; daughter, Rena Lall; grandson, Joseph Ralph; great-granddaughter, Brooklynne Murray
A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday November 9, 2018 at All Saints Parish (St. James Catholic Church) 710 Columbus Avenue, Bay City. Father Steven Fillion will officiate with Rite of Committal in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Hyatt-Ewald Funeral Home on Thursday November 8, 2018 from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. with a Vigil for the Deceased at 7:00 P.M..
