Obituary of Shirley A. Wisner

Wisner, Shirley A. (Spangler) Midland, MI (formerly of Lapeer and Mayville) Shirley, age 80, passed away June 30, 2018. She was born December 28, 1937 in Midland Michigan to the late Ralph and Oneida (Pringle) Spangler. She married James Wisner on January 19, 1953, and he survives her. Shirley enjoyed decorating and ceramics, but loved baking, cooking, and crocheting for family and friends. While in Lapeer, she was active leading different activities at Peppermill Place Apartments with her neighbors. She and Jim enjoyed spending the winters at their home in DeLand Florida. She leaves behind, her husband James; daughter, Shirley Ann Wisner of Midland; a special niece, Colleen (Tom) VanSlambrouck of Sanford; her brother, Lester and Dorothy Spangler of Sanford, Dennis and Sharon Spangler of Sanford, John Spangler of Houghton Lake, Darlene and Bob Bergeron of St. Helen, Bill and Cindy Spangler of Houghton Lake; nephew, Sam (Cheryl) Williams of Gatesville TX; numerous nieces and nephews; and her buddy "Benjie". She was predeceased by her brother, Ralph Spangler Sr.; sisters, Norma Thurston and Roxene Thrush; and sister-in-law, Margaret "Sis" Spangler. The family respectfully requests no flowers be sent.
