My favorite memories of Oma are of the special way she treated my son. From the time he was old enough to walk on his own he would sneak next door and she had little bags of snacks already waiting for him. She used to yell out her door, Come Here Shatzi! I have a treat for you. She doted on him like he was one of her own, and he loved her with all his heart. She was a wonderful woman who was the bright spot in our little dead end street. She will be missed dearly..
