Rosie passed away on Friday March 31, 2017, at the age of 92. She was born June 15, 1924 in Holly Springs Mississippi to the late Mr. & Mrs. Cowans. She owned and operated the Fashion Splendor Beauty Salon for 25 years. She loved caring for her family, cooking for family & friends, and sharing her generosity with many.
She is survived by her sons, James Kenny Jones and Naomi Redding of Bay City and W. Nadren Jones of Saginaw. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jeremy (Jennifer) Rall of Los Angeles CA, Halima Shani Henderson of NY NY and Tyson N. (Tiffany) Jones of Bay City; 3 great-grandchildren, Tyson J., Titus, and Trey.
She was predeceased by her husband Willie F. Jones and daughter, Shirley A. Jones.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, April 6, 2017, at Second Baptist Church with Pastor Seth R. Doyle officiating. The family will receive friends at church prior to the service beginning at 10 AM. To sign online guestbook, visit www.hyattewald.com
