Kaminsky, Larry L. Tallahassee, Florida Mr. Kaminsky, age 84 died on Friday June 24, 2016. Larry was born in Allenville, Michigan on July 29, 1931 to the late August and Augusta "Gussie" (Zimelow) Kaminsky. Larry lived in St. Ignace and Burton before moving in 1987 to Safety Harbor, Florida. Mr. Kaminsky served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict, was an electronic inspector for Eaton Corporation and a computer operator for G.M. Flint Assembly Plant. He served as general treasurer and building fund treasurer for Redeemer Lutheran Church in Flint. Larry loved Tiger Baseball, enjoyed going to the VFW and American Legion Dances, and played softball for Three Score Softball in Clearwater FL for many years. Mr. Kaminsky is survived by his daughter Valerie (Steven) Gordon of Burton; grandchildren, Rachel (Mark) Feldmann of Brighton and Steven Gordon II of Swartz Creek; great- grandson Collin; sister, Avis Peppel of Bay City; 2 nieces and a nephew, Debbie, Kathy and Rollin. He was preceded in death by his brother Jimmy Luepnitz and his sister Virginia Leonard. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 4:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. at the Hyatt-Ewald Funeral Home, Bay City MI. Inurnment will take place later at the Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan.
