Obituary of Robert A. Elliot

Elliot, Robert A. Bay City, Michigan Mr. Elliot, age 71, died on Monday May 30, 2016. Robert was born in Bay City on February 1, 1945 to the late Arthur and Ellen (Tenant) Elliot. Robert served in the US Navy during Vietnam. He was a deputy for the Bay County Sheriff's Department and Central dispatch and retired in March of 2000. Mr. Elliot is survived by his daughter Laurel McClure of Bay City, 2 grandchildren; Elizabeth and Cameron McClure, special friend who was like a brother Jim Dubay of Bay City and his children; Jace Dubay and Joelle Sporman both of Bay City. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Ellena McClure. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday June 4, 2016 at the Hyatt-Ewald Funeral Home, Bay City. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service. A special thank you to Dr. John Bartnik who gave Robert six more years, to Dr. Anna Bartnik who care for Robert in his final days and Nurse Shannon who was a special friend.
