Obituary of Helen M. "Aunt Helen" Rubick

Rubick, Helen Mae "Aunt Helen" Bay City, Michigan Miss Rubick, age 79, died Monday January 19, 2015. Helen was born in Fairgrove on October 26, 1935 to the late George and Theresa (Urban) Rubick. She has lived in the Bay City area for many years . Helen always showed deep concern for her family and friends and often said prayers for them. She had a beautiful smile and her face would always light-up when someone spoke to her or did special things with her. She attended Do-All, New Dimensions and most recently North Bay Activity Center. She was known as "Aunt Helen" to all her friends and family. Miss Rubick is survived by her 2 sisters: Nancy (Bud) Austin of Munger, Rosemary Zibbell of Novi. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews;Sharon (Craig) Kaska, Pam Cartwright, Darlene (Don) Levinson, John Evans, Dwight (Elaine) Evans, Debbie Goss, Dennis Evans, Matthew Evans, Brenda (Bill) Vermeesch, Valerie (Mark) DeLadurantaye, Renae (Tim) VanDenBoom, Keri (Earl) Schatzer, Pat (Kelly) Austin, Paul (Bonnie) Austin and many nieces, nephews , great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother and sister Franklin Rubick and Frances Evans, nephews Jimmy Evans and John Cartwright. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday January 24, 2015 at the Hyatt-Ewald Funeral Home, Bay City. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday January 23, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M and Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
