Obituary of Susan M. DeLong

DeLong, Susan M. Byron, Michigan formerly of Howell Susan, age 45, died Friday December 19, 2014 at McLaren Hospital, Flint. Susan Marie was born in Southfield, Michigan on November 17, 1969 to the late Don and Margaret Marie (McElroy) DeLong. Susan has lived in the Byron area since 1995, having lived in Howell for many years. Susan was a Medical Biller at Flint Neurological Center. Susan is survived by the love of her life Dean Berkompas of Byron, her 2 brothers and a sister; Dan and wife Laura DeLong of Byron, Pam and husband Cam Costantini of Morrice, and Wayne and wife Debra DeLong of Gregory, Michigan. Also surviving are 3 nephews and a niece; Ryan and wife Katie DeLong of Stockbridge, Michael DeLong of Byron, Derek Landrum of Morrice and Maranda Costantini of Morrice, great nephew Connor Landrum of Morrice. She was preceded in death by her brother Jim "Jimmy" DeLong. A life celebration service will be held at 12:00 Noon, on Saturday January 10, 2015 at the Oak Grove United Methodist Church, 6686 Oak Grove Road, Howell. Reverend Paula Timm will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
