Obituary of Maizie B. Wilkins

Maizie B. Wilkins, was born on April 20, 1949 to the union of Edgar Albert Moore and Laura Pennington-Moore. Both parents preceded her in death.  Maizie received her education in the Georgia and Detroit Public School Systems. Maizie had a beautiful smile that lit up every room she entered. Maizie loved fashion and design, and spent many years cutting and styling wigs.  

Maizie leaves to cherish her memory, a loving daughter, Anesha T. Morton; a granddaughter, Niaha T. Waller; her sisters, Phoebe E. Williams, Mamie Jones (deceased), Alma T. Moore, Helene Moore, and Shineka Hyitt; and one brother, Terry Jordan.

A funeral service will take place at 1:30 PM, Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at the Hyatt Ewald Funeral Home, 700 N.
