Heidger, Dino
Bay City, Michigan
Dino passed away on February 29, 2024 at the age of 55. He was born on August 17, 1968 to the late Angela (Jill) Fila and Ken Heidger. Not known to many, he was a twin for about 2 minutes of his life.
Sometimes he was a number and sometimes he was a name, what we know him best for is his love for always singing off key. He liked to make people smile. He sang everywhere he went, and he was loud, and he was proud about it. He loved music and music filled most of his days with joy.
He was a tried-and-true Detroit Lions and Detroit Red Wings fan. He never got too worked up when they lost, but was passionate when they won! His passion in life was to cook and he was good at it. Food and music truly defined his personality.
He lived in a few states, several cities around Michigan, and he made a lot of friends along the way. He believed in God and loved his family. He never married and never had kids, but he treated his nieces and nephews like they were his own kids when he could.
His life was shorter than we all planned for, but he always believed that when it was time to go, it was time to go. We know that he’s up there looking down on all of us singing Journey and REO Speed wagon, is laughing and is “Rollin with the changes.”
He is survived by his brothers, nieces/nephews, great-nieces/nephews and cousins, Adam Heidger, Paul Heidger, Carla Brooks (Aislyn Coones, Leslie Brooks), Mason Heidger, Lisa Mudge (Sophie and harper Mudge), Kenneth Heidger and Kim Mitchell (Nathan Higgerson, William, Lucas, Murphy Mitchell).
He was predeceased by his brothers, Kenneth Clifford Heidger II and William Heidger.
