This is really sad news. In the late 1960's Sonja and Don were neighbors of mine on Fifth Street. We were all young..struggling to "make it" in a challenging world..and the sense of "neighborhood" was wonderful. Sonja was a pure delight.. a very good friend of my ex wife (now also passed)...and Don was a true favorite of mine. We moved from Bay City to Minnesota chasing a career..and Don made his contribution in Bay City. No better couple was ever known to me. As the years wore on.. I planned on visiting Don and Sonja..but it never happened. My loss, believe me. RIP Sonja..and hug your old man for me!
