Mr. Behmlander, age 61, died on Monday October 9, 2023.  Walter was born in Bay City on April 13, 1962 to the late Walter and Dorothy (Fahringer) Behmlander.  He married the former Leona M. Campbell on June 15, 2001.  Walter worked for Omni Source for 20 years and retired from their October 26, 2020.  He is survived by his wife Leona, his step children; Khristina (Adam) Jackson of Bay City and James (Jennifer) Bissonette of Bay City.  Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; his sister Sandy (Roy) Bermejo of Bay City, 2 nephews; Tony (Jannelle) Bermejo and Steven (Jenny) Bermejo, 2 great nephews and 3 great nieces.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M.  on Friday October 13, 2023 at the Hyatt-Ewald Funeral Home, 700 N. Monroe Street, Bay City.  Pastor Jim Payne will officiate.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday October 12, 2023 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.  To sign online guest book visit www.hyattewald.com
