Madonna L. Taylor, age 92, passed away September 25, 2023 at home with her family by her side. She was born in Bay City Michigan June 23, 1931 to the late Charles and Alvertha Trombley. Madonna loved spending time with her family, and in her spare time, she enjoyed crafting, bingo, angels, camping, fishing, rummage sales, and helping anyone she could.
Madonna is survived by her daughter, Debra Gwizdala; two daughters-in-law, Jennifer and Alexis; a son-in-law, Dennis Voisine; brother-in-law, Danny (Cathy) Ash; grandchildren, Rachel Schreider (John Edwards), Chad Taylor, Elliott (Stephanie) Schweinsberg, Christopher Taylor, Patrick Schwweinsberg, Timothy (Margret) Taylor, Dakota (Bethany) Taylor, Hunter Taylor, Christie Voisine Dueweke, Mark Gwizdala Jr., and Angela Gwizdala Compau; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and lifelong friends, Jeanette Cunningham and Katie Macintosh.
Madonna was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Duane O. Taylor; 4 children, Diane M Voisine, Duane C. Taylor; Dale J. Taylor, and Douglas M. Taylor; a sister and brother-in-law, Carol (Jack) Wesenick; son-in-law, Mark A. Gwizdala Sr.; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Geraldine and Newel Smith; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jack and Liz Taylor; three nephews, Jay Wesenick, John Taylor, and Randy Smith; and lifelong friend, Marry Higgins.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am, November 10, 2023, at Heavenly Rest Cemetery, Lauria Road, Kawkawlin, Michigan, where Madonna will be laid to rest with Duane and Dale. Hunter Taylor will officiate.
