Obituary of Michael John Schultz, Jr.

Michael J. Schultz, Jr. “Mike”, age 29 returned, to his heavenly home on Friday, August 13, 2021. He was born in Bay City, Michigan on September 15, 1991 to Jamie Sharon (Gassman) and Michael Schultz. Mike will be remembered for many things such as his wonderful smile, great sense of humor and a contagious laugh. He enjoyed fishing, shooting pool and throwing darts which earned him several league/tournament wins. Without a doubt, his favorite past time was online gaming. Mike (aka Oxide111) was recognized as an elite gamer and was sought out by other players worldwide to compete in major online game events. Mike was blessed with a large and loving family. He is survived by his parents; his fiancee, Jennifer Phillips and her son, Logan; and their daughters whom he loved and adored, Michaela and Amaya, and eldest, Brook-Lyne ~ daughter of Jasmine Pendas; his only sibling, Shanon Schultz, who was always by his side; his nieces and nephews, Bentley, Savannah, Kaelynn, Alexis, and Jaxson...who loved "Uncle Mike" very much and are really going to miss him; aunts and uncles, Sharon and Doug Lindke, Sandy and Chet Allen, Julie Brewster, Roger Gassman, Jaynee Gassman, and Ryan Gonea; and many close and beloved cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Janice Gassman, Jack Gonea, Jim Gassman, and JoAnn Witucki; and uncle, Jim Schultz. As service for Mike will be held at a future date.
